Brown oak is not as common as regular oak. Similar to spalted maple its strikingly rich character is caused by a fungus which subsequently dies when the tree is cut and dried. It exudes rich brown colours with tanned streaks.

The tactile handle loop is made from natural leather, complementing the colours in the timber.
