Care Guide

The majority of our furniture is finished with hard wearing natural wax oils. These are great for the environment as well as the furniture, creating a semi-permeable surface that enables the wood to breath.

  • Always avoid using chemical cleaning products as they will eventually strip through the oils in the finish. 

    Wipe clean with a damp lint-free cloth and use a tea towel to remove any risidual water. Wine or oil spills should be cleaned up immediately to prevent penetration of the surface.

    Osmo ‘Liquid Wax Spray Cleaner’ can be used on a daily basis, (or just occasionally) to regenerate the protective oil-wax layer, and help retain the furnitures shine.

  • We recommend using Osmo ‘Wash & Care’ periodically. This will help maintain the finish by thoroughly cleaning it, and replacing any lost oils. 

    Solid timber has many benefits, one of these being that after several years of wear and tear it can be lightly sanded back removing any dents or scratches. After two coats of the original wax oil the piece will look and feel as good as new.
